this is the end of the first chapter. I will be going on a hiatus with the comic for a bit to try to reinvigorate my interest in the story, over the past month I have really lost interest and the quality has suffered for it. I want to take some time to look at chapter 2 and how to get through it in a way that is exciting both for you readers, but also not feel like a chore to draw. Part of me wishes I could just jump forward to chapter 3… That is where the story will turn into something else completely and what has had me excited in the comic since day 1. Hopefully it will be ready in a few weeks to come back till then I will try to draw something extra each week, either a joke page or maybe do 2 Zoe’s if can manage the workload.
So skip to Chapter 3. You’re the writer and artist, who says you can’t?
it is something I am trying to wrap my head around. Thinking of making the first 10-15pgs reiterate the first chapter as well as explain what would of happened in the second chapter. It will sort of be like a reboot of sorts. I want to improve the art and character design, possibly making it colored. But it will be a month probably before I am ready to really move forward as I really need to go into it and rewrite much of it and find the best way to condense about 75pgs into 10 or so pages.
It was a mistake I think to do these chapters as from the beginning I have been pretty clear that it was later on after a major tonal shift that I was excited for. This first chapter was ok but kinda lost its luster pretty early on. When I do bring ILMB back it will be a completely different beast.
